Birchwoods Lodge
Birchwoods is the first building on the left as you enter the property with a great panorama view of the 1000 Islands. This lodge houses four spacious Riverview rooms, with the balance of this building being our more economical Non-Riverview rooms. Great lodge for gathering together on the large shared patio, lovely views and amazingly comfortable.
Pinewoods Lodge
Pinewoods is one of our two waterfront lodges situated just twenty meters from the banks of the St. Lawrence River. This building provides a magnificent view of the waterfront from a private upper-level balcony or a lower-level patio, located just steps away from our outdoor pool. The upper level accommodations are equipped with propane fireplaces; the lower level rooms are furnished with wet bars. A fully accessible suite for those with mobility issues and the majority of our beautiful Riverfront King Suites are located in this section.
Main Lodge
We welcome you to come visit the main lodge, the information center of the resort, located centrally between Pinewoods and Maplewoods. The majority of our indoor amenities are situated in this lodge. Enjoy a round or two of ping pong in our well stocked games room or walk a “country mile” on one of our treadmills in our on-site gym. In the evening you can enjoy a signature beverage in Smuggler’s Lounge or a casual fine dining dinner at Shipman’s Dining Room both with amazing vistas of the St Lawrence river and the 1000 Islands. Take a peek in our brand new shop, housing locally sourced goods and original art produced by local craftspeople as well as the basic sundries staples that even the most seasoned travelers manage to forget.
Maplewoods Lodge
Maplewoods is located on the waterfront directly overlooking the St. Lawrence River with full interior access to the to the main lodge, Shipman’s Dining Room and Smuggler’s Lounge. This two-story building houses our indoor pool with whirlpool and full change rooms with shower. Maplewoods hosts our Riverfront accommodations, Riverfront Jacuzzi Suites, and Honeymoon Suites. Enjoy your morning coffee on your private balcony and soak up the sun while watching the boats go by. This lodge also contains The Lost Channel conference facility.
Hickory Hill Lodge
This Lodge rests on a hillside with an outstanding vista of the St. Lawrence River and houses our Riverview accommodations. Comfortable and spacious double rooms with patio doors that open out onto a large shared lawn with mini patios perfect for enjoying a snack or just soaking up the calming atmosphere. Hickory Hill is the perfect place for families to gather on the lawn for a game of bocce ball, corn hole or croquet. Pop by the Children’s Play Area, complete with swings and a slide is ideal for some family playtime with the children.
Oakwoods Lodge
The Oakwoods Lodge is set back and slightly elevated from the main lodge. Enjoy views of the St. Lawrence River and 1000 Islands from the upper level Riverview accommodations or for a more economical option our lower level Non Riverview rooms. Enjoy the large, shared, and furnished deck, perfect for sun soaking during the day or star gazing on a serene summer evening. The resort tennis court can also be found up by the Oakwoods lodge with racquets and balls available at the front desk.
Please Note: Due to seasonal fire regulations and insurance issues there are no BBQ’s or open flames allowed on the property. The Glen House Resort is not pet friendly.
